USB, SD and flash-media recovery
Removable flash storage is convenient but can become inaccessible because of accidental deletion, formatting, file-system corruption, connector or device problems, or other failures. Recovery options depend on the exact device condition and the events that occurred before assessment.
Common flash-media situations
- USB flash drive is not detected normally.
- SD or memory card asks to be formatted.
- Files or folders have disappeared or become inaccessible.
- The device was accidentally formatted.
- The file system or partition information is corrupted.
- The media connects intermittently or behaves unpredictably.
What to do next
- Avoid formatting or reinitialising the device.
- Avoid writing new files to the affected media.
- Avoid repeated recovery-tool attempts that modify the source.
- Keep the original device and note what happened.
Assessment and fees
The current inspection/evaluation fee for USB, SD and flash media is Rs. 2,000. Inspection fees are non-refundable. Recovery/service charges, where applicable, are quoted separately after assessment.

- The case is evaluated for possible recovery options.
- An assessment and quotation are provided.
- Recovery work proceeds only if appropriate and agreed.
